Bernadette Lorraine Palisada Dominguez Sembrano-Aguinaldo is a Filipina reporter, newscaster, television personality, and musician. She was born on February 18, 1976, but is better known by her stage name, Bernadette Sembrano.
Sembrano began her career in the broadcasting industry in 1997 as a newscaster for IBC. In 1998, she moved to the GMA Network, where she served as the anchor of GMA Network News and the first wishing program in the country, Wish Ko Lang.
She and GMA had disagreements regarding a television program that she was hosting, which revealed the alleged graft and corruption of a government official.
The network delayed airing the program, but they did so with a certain disclaimer, which caused her to leave during an evening news broadcast.
