Diamond and Silk are known for their commentary supporting former President Donald Trump and for hosting shows on Newsmax and FrankSpeech.com. Diamond and Silk are sisters and go by their middle names. Diamond and Silk have three other siblings and were raised by televangelical pastors Freeman and Betty Willis Hardaway in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The Hardaways have sold weight loss cures and wreaths that supposedly ward off witchcraft.

Diamond and Silk gained popularity on YouTube after releasing their first videos, which included a montage about police brutality titled “Black Lives Matter” and a video about Sandra Bland, a black woman who died in a Texas jail. After they started creating pro-Trump videos, their YouTube channel experienced significant growth. They first joined Donald Trump as the “Stump for Trump Girls” at a rally in Raleigh, North Carolina on December 4, 2015, and later warmed up the crowd at a rally in Biloxi, Mississippi on January 2, 2016.

On November 2, 2016, Diamond and Silk appeared with Lara Trump, wife of Eric Trump, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on behalf of the Trump campaign. They were paid for their field consulting work by the Trump campaign. Diamond and Silk regularly appeared on Fox News shows such as “Hannity,” “Fox News Sunday,” “Watters’ World,” and “The Ingraham Angle,” as well as “Fox & Friends.”

In November 2018, they were given their own show on Fox Nation, the online Fox News streaming service. They have also been featured on ABC’s “Nightline.” Ineitha Hardaway, known as Diamond, is typically the more talkative of the two, while Herneitha Richardson, known as Silk, often expresses agreement. In October 2018, they premiered a documentary film titled “Dummycrats” at the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C.

From 2018 to 2020, the pair created original content for Fox News and Fox Nation. However, their content ended in April 2020, and they last appeared on Fox News and Fox Business in early March. In April 2020, the two were fired from Fox News. According to sources at Fox News, the network terminated its association with the sisters due to their dissemination of false information about the COVID-19 pandemic. After leaving Fox News, the duo now hosts a Saturday afternoon show on Newsmax TV called “Diamond and Silk Crystal Clear.”
