MckourageJ.J. Abrams is reportedly working on a Black Superman script with Ta-Nehisi Coates.
That script could be retooled to fit Henry Cavill’s Superman and bring him back to the big screen.
It would likely not affect the other Black Superman project that will be coming to HBO Max.
That project is being developed by Michael B. Jordan and will introduce Val-Zod, an Earth-2 character.
The last time we saw Henry Cavill as Superman was in 2017’s Justice League. In an interview with Collider, he said he’d be up for playing Superman again if they give him a project.
