MckourageMaria Jessica Aspiras Soho (born March 27, 1964) is a Filipina journalist best known for hosting the news magazine program Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (2004–present) on the GMA Network.
From 2011 to 2020, she anchored the newscast State of the Nation with Jessica Soho on GMA News TV. Soho is an award-winning journalist. Soho was the first Filipino to receive the British Fleet Street Award for Journalism in 1998.
Soho and the I-Witness team got the Philippines’ first Peabody Award in 1999 for creating the documentaries “Kidneys for Sale” and “Kamao.” Soho was the first Filipino to win at the New York Film Festival for her account of a hostage crisis in Cagayan Valley.
