James Mark Fowler was born on April 9, 1930, in Albany, Georgia, in the United States of America. He spent his childhood growing up in the town of Falls Church, Virginia. In 2003, Jim Fowler became the recipient of the Lindbergh Award for his 40 years of dedication to wildlife preservation and education. Fowler passed on May 8, 2019, at the age of 89 at his home in Norwalk, Connecticut due to complications of heart disease.
