Samantha Armytage is a well-known Australian journalist and television presenter. She was born on September 4, 1976 in Australia. Previously, Armytage shared hosting duties with David Koch on the morning television show Sunrise, which was broadcast on the Seven Network from 2013 till 2021.
In the past, she has also been a co-host on Weekend Sunrise and a presenter for Seven’s 4.30 News. Armytage started her career in the media in 1999 at WIN Television in Canberra, where she worked as a news reporter and presenter in the capital city.
After this, in 2002, she became the chief political correspondent for Sky News Australia, where she had previously worked.
Armytage made the announcement in June 2020 that she was engaged to her partner, Richard Lavender. On the 31st of December in the year 2020, the couple wed in a small, intimate ceremony in the Southern Highlands.
