The 2nd in line for the throne, it turns out, sent a touching letter to the fiancée of Capitol police officer Brian Sicknick, who died from injuries sustained while attempting to defend the United States Capitol.

“Please forgive me if I am intruding, but I wanted to write and let you know how sorry I am about the death of your partner, Brian,” the letter said, adding, “Having recently watched documentary footage of the harrowing events that took place at the Capitol building, I wanted to acknowledge Brian’s patriotism and selflessness.”

The letter went on to commend Brian for his patriotism in guarding the Capitol, stating he hopes Sandra will “take some comfort in knowing that it is because to law enforcement personnel like Brian that the situation did not develop further and democracy was protected.”

Sandra told CNN that she got zero messages from former President Donald Trump, all of them were critical of him… “Trump is unconcerned about law enforcement or Brian.”

Brian was one of five Capitol police killed during the insurgency. Brian died the next day as a result of numerous strokes.

Last year, President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden were among the luminaries who paid their respects to Brian, arriving at the Capitol Rotunda unannounced and praying beside his coffin.
